What you need to tell us...

This is a partial check-list of the questions we need to ask you to make your build go as smoothly as possible. It may look a little confusing to start with, but don't worry - we dig through this lot with clients, sometimes several times a day! - Just be aware of the kinds of information we may need.

Domain Name

• Do you have a name?
• Who is holding your domain record?
• Do you know how to change your name servers when the time comes?

Design

• Are rewriting an existing site?
• Do you already have a colour set or logo style that we need to use?
• Can you give us 2 or 3 site examples and explain which aspect of the site design or functionality you like?

Video

• List any featured content Youtube videos
• OR, Provide a Youtube channel name for random selection

Images

• Provide any public Picasa / Flickr / Photobucket user details for your gallery (if required).
• Provide any specific Album ID's for automatically populated slide shows

Initial Content

• If you have a preferred page structure please supply this
• If you have initial content for any of your pages (about / Contact etc.) please supply this in Open Office / Word or Notepad format.

e-commerce

• Do you have less than 15 products?
• If so, how many categories do you need set up?
• Please provide a sample of your product details.
• What payment methods do you want us to set up? (e.g. paypal / google checkout / etc)
• Do you sell intangible goods (digital downloads)?
• Do you use existing Paypal IPN notification systems? (if you don't know, then you probably don't).

External e-commerce

• Do you want to use an eBay shop as your store?
• Please provide any external shop service details. We can integrate a live feed of  products within your site framework.

RSS Feeds

• Would you like to display News feeds on your site ?
• Provide a Google news search that returns the kinds of items you would like.

Tracking & Stats

• Please provide us with details for any external page/site tracking codes you need included in your site. If you do not have an existing system, may we suggest a free Google analytics system. (We can set this up for you)

Affiliate / Advertising Systems

• Please provide any affiliate / advertising details required on your site
